With her professional background in cross-border M&A transactions in Central Eastern Europe (CEE), she now helps corporate legal teams and law firms across CEE  to make the most of their investment into legal process innovation. Jodie Baker, CEO and Founder of Xakia Technologies

Jodie Baker is an innovator, entrepreneur and passionate advocate of legal technology and legal data analytics. Combining skills derived from her career as both a lawyer and as a financial analyst, Jodie co-founded Australia’s Hive Legal in 2014, in-house software Xakia Technologies in 2016, and was a founding member of the Australian Legal Technology Association (ALTA), where she is currently President.

Adam Szijarto, Legal director, Egis Pharmaceuticals PLC

Adam Szijarto has been an in house legal manager for most of his career in law. During the 11 years in his current role at Egis, Adam has been monitoring the legal work performance of his own team and external legal advisors. Over the last years, exploring digital solutions has become a priority for Adam and they cooperate with Xakia in legal data analytics. In addition to legal graduate studies, Adam has an LLM in International Business Law from CEU (Budapest) and is currently participating in the Global Executive MBA program of the WU Executive Academy (Vienna).
