With the shift towards digital transformation and big data analytics in business, the legal market is also increasingly becoming a data-driven industry. In this context, developing a strategy to better manage legal documents and data owned by corporate legal departments or law firms may be particularly relevant. This is what we call a Legal Big Data strategy.
In June 2018, we organized a Legal Big Data webinar jointly with the European Legal Tech Association (ELTA) and our legal AI partner Nalytics to discuss about strategic and pragmatic approach to big data in legal context.
Our CEO, Orsolya Szabó is an ELTA Ambassador for Hungary and invited the Nalytics team to share insights with the lawyer community of ELTA interested in innovating legal processes. During the Legal Big Data webinar, they addressed questions such as: What could be Legal Big Data? What value lies in structuring and extracting legal data in a strategic manner? What capabilities does a legal team (in a law firm or within a corporate environment) need to optimize access to legal data? And how is this relevant for the long-term?
